Shipping Policy
We ship within the United States using USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Shipping practices differ slightly for live and dried products to ensure optimal quality.
Live Lugworms – Shipping Information
Because live lugworms are perishable, shipping schedules are carefully managed.
Shipping Days
- Live lugworms ship Monday through Wednesday
- This helps avoid weekend delays and protects bait quality
- Thursday shipping available only if delivery is within 1 day. Please contact us to confirm prior to order.
Order Cutoff
- Orders must be placed by Wednesday at 12:00 PM (PST)
- Orders placed after the cutoff will ship during the following week’s shipping window
Delivery Time
- Most live lugworm orders arrive within 1–2 business days
- California deliveries typically arrive within 1 business day
Dried Lugworms – Shipping Information
Dried lugworms are non-perishable and offer greater flexibility.
- Dried lugworms may ship Monday through Friday
- No refrigeration or special timing is required
- Transit times vary by carrier and destination
Dried lugworms may ship separately from live bait if ordered together.

When will my order ship?
- Live lugworms ship during the next available Monday–Wednesday window
- Dried lugworms ship as soon as the order is processed
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
My package shows delivered, but I didn’t receive it. What should I do?
Please contact us at info@onlinebaitexpress.com within 48 hours of the delivery notice and include:
- Your order number
- The shipping address
- Any relevant tracking details
We will assist you in opening a carrier inquiry when applicable.
Return & Refund Policy
Due to the perishable nature of live bait, returns are not accepted, except in cases of Dead on Arrival (DOA).
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy – Live Lugworms
- DOA claims must be submitted on the day of delivery
- Email info@onlinebaitexpress.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of all product received
Once reviewed and confirmed, we will issue either:
- A full refund, or
- A replacement, at our discretion
Returns on Dried Lugworms
Due to food and bait safety standards, returns are not accepted on dried lugworms unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
If there is an issue with your dried lugworm order, please contact us with your order number and photos if applicable.
