Okay, so I’ve been fishing the surf for quite a while now and have always been a fan of lug worms. They catch absolutely everything in the surf. I have caught some of my personal best fish species with lug worms, including a 28” Spotfin croaker in full spawn colors! I’ve caught surf perch, butterlip, corbina, yellowfin croaker, Spotfin croaker, and leopard sharks. When I found Online Bait Express, I was so pumped! My local bait shop is often out of lug worms and that can really put a damper on my weekend fishing sessions. But now I can order my lugs during the week and actually have them delivered to my doorstep, I slide em in the fridge, and bam!! I’m ready to rock and roll whenever I get a shot to hit the surf…worms come shipped extremely secure and cold and arrive in perfect condition. I have never had an issue with any of the worms ordered here. Highly recommend this company!

About half of the lugworms were showing signs of life after three days in the fridge. Would I order again? Not sure. I was disappointed they weren't heather, but the delivery was good.

High quality live lugworm. Can be stored in frig for over 1 week and still good for bait. Caught 1 big spot fin croaker and a few perch when I was surf fishing.

Good size worms and delivery was fast
I purchased live 1x green lugworms and 1x orange lugworms. I placed an order on Monday and received the worms in hand by Thursday. I got them just in time for the weekend, fresh and live. The seller also included a bag of freeze dried lugworms, which happen to stay on better than the live ones, but fish just as well. I ended up using all 3 (2 live and 1 dried) containers of worms within 12 hours, as the bite was hot. I did not catch our target species that day (Barred Surf Perch), but the smelt would not stay off of our hooks.
Although we didn't get our target species, there is no doubt that these baits work, as the fish won't stay off. Kudos to the seller for fast shipping and including a little something extra.

Upon receiving order, kept in frig (unopened) for about a week before using. The worms were not like what I had purchased in past years from Angler's Choice. Poor quality - fragile & thin, no bulk to them. difficult to get on & keep on hook, even a bait holder. One perch hit and they ripped off. Would have been better off paying a little more for fresh blood worms. Disappointed in product & would not buy again.

Since live lugworms are very sensitive and perishable, even with careful handling, there can sometimes be variances in quality.
We want to let you know that our offer to resend a couple of boxes of live lugworms for your next fishing trip still stands. However, if you’d prefer, we can send you a couple of packs of dried lugworms instead. They’re easier to store, stay on the hook better, and are just as effective.
Either option at no charge of course. Please let me know which option works best for you.
