Thank you for leaving a review about our bloodworms. We apologize that some of the worms were not as lively as expected and had been cut. Bloodworms have a natural defense mechanism called autotomy, where they can detach their tails when they feel threatened. While we do our best to keep them comfortable and cold during shipping, unfortunately we have no control over the shipping provider. We also want to mention that anywhere north of Morro Bay requires 2-day shipping, which could also contribute to the autotomy.
